Spouse Employment Assistance Grant
What is it?
The spouse employment assistance grant provides spouses/partners of resident doctors in rural and remote South Australia with the opportunity to undertake training or professional development for the purpose of gaining employment in their communities.
Who can apply?
The spouse employment assistance grant is available to spouses/partners of rural doctors who are currently residing in rural and remote South Australia.

How much?
Spouse employment assistance grants of up to $3,000 (AUD) are available per financial year.
To apply for the spouse employment assistance grant:
Please complete the Application Form.
If you have previously received a Grant and wish to reapply for the new financial year, please complete the Previously Approved Application Form.
You can use this form as long as you are still undertaking the same course/training.
If you have changed your course/training, please complete the Application Form.
To make a claim:
Upon approval of your application, costs can be claimed as they are incurred using the Claim Form.
