RDWA

Doctors in Training & Students

Registrars, interns and students are the future of our rural communities and their health care.

Rural practice provides a prestigious and highly valued speciality career.

While the RDWA has traditionally provided its services to doctors, we have expanded our services for the primary healthcare workforce more broadly now.

GPs, nurses and allied health professionals in rural SA are highly skilled practitioners working across a broad scope of practice.

The RDWA offers Rural Registrars additional supports to enhance and complement their training experience.  We put you first in our customised service.

Medical Interns have the chance to work with experienced rural GPs who provide supervised exposure to General Practice early in junior doctors’ careers.

Our student programs provide great support to Medical Students, Graduates considering health careers and Secondary School students.

It doesn't matter whether you are in high school or already at university studying another course, if your goal is a career in medicine, nursing or allied health, then RDWA knows how to help.
