medSPACE Ready

For Year 10 and 11 Students

For students in years 10 and 11, RDWA’s medSPACE Ready program brings 50 students together for a three day workshop in Adelaide.

During the workshop, students will become familiar with both universities, try their hand at clinical skills, network with medical students and meet inspiring health professionals. This taste of medical school will show rural kids that studying medicine is possible.

The RDWA funds the workshop, which is run in the July school holidays by qualified staff providing 24 hour supervision. All you need to cover is the cost of getting to Adelaide and back home.

We open applications for medSPACE Ready in February and close in late March.

We thank our partners in medSPACE Ready – Immanuel College, Flinders University and the University of Adelaide. We also thank the medical students and interns who come to the workshop to share their experiences.
