After hours commitments are based on a community roster, shared by 14 doctors and entails approximately one weekend day in every 4 weeks, and one week night every 4 weeks. Other commitments include a private obstetric roster (i.e. is responsible for own patients) with a back-up obstetric roster through the hospital.
