Practice Management Services

 
What is it?
Practice Management Services are provided by the Rural Doctors Workforce Agency assist business owners and practice management staff in improving the day-to-day operations of a practice. By reviewing and assessing the current operations of the practice, independent feedback is provided on how to improve the overall operations of the practice.

Areas often reviewed include: -
• Practice processes and procedures
• Patient and financial management systems
• Use of Information Technology
• Practice Incentives
 
Rural Doctors Workforce Agency Practice Managers Program (PMP)
The Rural Doctors Workforce Agency recognises the importance of supporting rural Practice Managers and is currently running an education program aimed at providing up-skill and networking opportunities to rural practice managers. Aligning with UNE Partnerships to deliver a Certificate IV in Practice Management, this program enables participants to attain formal qualifications nationally recognised by the Australian Association of Practice Managers.
