Country and Outback Health’s vision is for healthier, happier communities. The Exercise Physiologist will play a pivotal role in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of individuals through evidence-based exercise interventions, playing a key role in preventive healthcare, rehabilitation, and overall health. You will undertake timely and appropriate assessments and intervention to improve health, functionality, recovery, independence, and participation in activities for individuals at various stages of life.

The practice offers you a choice of location in either Port Lincoln or Whyalla, flexibility, and working with an experienced team in a supportive environment.

Criteria and experience

  • Bachelor Exercise Physiology
  • Registered with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) or working towards Accreditation
  • Current valid South Australian drivers licence
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

Package

The practice offers flexible arrangements, salary packaging, and 5 weeks annual leave.

Location

Port Lincoln and Whyalla are both large regional cities located on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula with populations between 15,000 and 20,000. The Eyre Peninsula has thriving agricultural, industrial, aquaculture industries, and is a popular tourist location which sees town populations increase seasonally.
