Waikerie Medical Centre is a well-established general practice in the Riverland. We support GPs, GP Registrars, GP Interns as part of the RDWA R2R GP Intern program, participate in the Rural Academy Clinical Excellence (RACE Program) and host Trainee Medical Officers (TMO’s) as well as Flinders University medical students and offer a wide variety of scope for nurses working in rural General Practice. The Treatment Room Nurse will be a good communicator with knowledge of triage, wound care and infection control and is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of Waikerie Medical Centre and providing exceptional standard of care to our patients. You will be an integral part of the team, offering support to all staff and doctors through quality nursing procedures, promoting and supporting patient recovery. Criteria and experience
PackageThe practice offers a part-time position with remuneration paid as per Nurses Award 2020, commensurate with experience. Full induction and training, including support for necessary upskilling, is provided, along with a uniform. Eligible applicants can apply for an RDWA primary health care recruitment incentive. |
