RDWA has partnered with AOGP to provide eligible non vocationally recognised (non-VR) doctors working in rural SA a high-quality education and peer networking program while they study for their general practice Fellowship.

About

RDWA funds AOGP to deliver you a customised education program, based on your Fellowship learning needs, at no cost to you.

Depending on your individual needs, you will be offered a combination of the following:

• Medical educator 1:1 visits
• Development of a learning plan to guide your Fellowship activities
• Consultation and Communication workshops
• Clinical Education days
• Fortnightly webinars led by experienced GP educators.

If you are a non-VR doctor working in rural SA and have not yet joined our program or if you are planning a move to rural SA you are eligible to apply for this support.  Once you contact us, we will arrange for an initial conversation with one of the experienced medical educators who can provide specific guidance on how RDWA’s non-VR fellowship support can help you.

Eligibility

You can apply for RDWA’s non-VR doctor fellowship support if you are:

• A non VR doctor working in general practice;
• Enrolled in or have applied to a Fellowship Program with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (excluding the Australian General Practice Training Program); and
• Living and working in rural South Australia (MM2-7).

Important Information

You can contact us at any point of your Fellowship studies. Eligible doctors will be able to participate in RDWA’s fellowship support activities at no cost.

Financial support is also offered for activities that require travel and accommodation.
