Fellowship Strategy Program

The RDWA has always held the view that it is essential for every resident GP in rural South Australia to obtain Fellowship with either the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.

We recognise that this requires effort and commitment.

The Fellowship Strategy Program aims to:

  • ensure doctors understand the requirements of practising in the Australian health care system
  • bring education and learning support information into one location on the RDWA website
  • facilitate peer learning groups where they are not currently available.

The Fellowship Strategy Program supports doctors to design their own learning and education pathway, and offers the opportunity for resident GPs on their Fellowship pathway to have an Individual Learning Plan developed in conjunction with a Medical Educator.

The program and access to the Fellowship Strategy Program Members Area is only available to resident rural South Australian doctors who are working towards achieving Fellowship that are not already engaged in a formal training program.

For further information, or to join the Fellowship Strategy Program please contact our team at FellowshipStrategyProgram@ruraldoc.com.au or call 08 8234 8277 or by registering via the link below.
