Starting Strong
RDWA supports rural primary health care professionals at every step of their career pathway, from High School, to University, to Interns and beyond.
RDWA is with you all the way.
Born and bred in Keith, Dr Sarah Willoughby first attended the RDWA UMAT workshop in high school. She stayed connected with RDWA through medical school, doing her third year placement at Millicent and intern year at Mt Gambier Hospital.
Still practising in the South East, Sarah is now a GP mentor for medical students through the John Flynn Placement Program.
“RDWA has been with me the whole way – the support I’ve received has been extraordinary, from when I was still in high school to helping me establish my own practice, they’ve been there every step of the way.”
If you are interested in a career in rural health we can provide the programs and assistance to help get you there.
