Pika Wiya Health Service is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service providing culturally appropriate service addressing prevention, promotion of good health and treatment of illness with programs and services designed to engage individuals and their families in the pursuit of better health. Pika Wiya Health Service services Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Port Augusta with clinics located in Davenport Community, Copley and Nepabunna.
The practice is multi-disciplinary, managing the social, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing of their clients with a team of local GP/RGs, nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners and workers, administrative staff, and visiting specialists.
Hours:
Practice: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
On call and weekend may be offered for nursing home consultations.
The practice offers flexible arrangements and a negotiable remuneration package.
