Ghan Medical Centre provide holistic health care to patients and services the Port Augusta Hospital, residents of Port Augusta and surrounding communities.

The practice is supported by an experienced GP/RGs, practice nurses, practice manager, and administrative staff. A range of allied health specialists are available locally.

Hours:

• Practice: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Hospital: shared roster for after hours on-call roster emergency services, 1-2 weekdays per week and 1 weekend per month

Qualifications considered / Experience

• Vocational registration
• MBBS or equivalent
• Experience in women’s health
• Cultural competence working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

Desirable

• Postgraduate qualification relevant to general practice (eg. Diploma of Child Health, Diploma of Obstetrics)
