Boston Bay Family Health Practice specialises in general medical services, obstetrics, and children and babies, and provides emergency services to the Port Lincoln Hospital. The practice provides care to residents of Port Lincoln (population approximately 15,000), and surrounding communities.

The practice offers variety in practice and is supported by experienced Registered Nurses, practice staff, and visiting specialists. Boston Bay Family Health Practice is an accredited teaching practice and there is opportunity to supervise registrars, interns, and medical students.

Hours:

• Practice: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Practice: Saturday 9:00am to 11:00am
• Hospital: shift work in emergency and/or inpatient care available

Qualifications considered / Experience

• Eligible for medical registration with AHPRA
• MBBS or equivalent
• Recent emergency experience, or prepared to upskill
• Ability to gain credentials as a General Practitioner - GP Emergency Medicine

Desirable

• Postgraduate qualification relevant to general practice (e.g. Diploma of Child Health, Diploma in Obstetrics)
• Skills and training in Obstetrics and Anaesthetics
