Investigator Clinic delivers generalised and specialised care in family medicine, pregnancy care, and dermatology, and provides anaesthetic services to the recently redeveloped Port Lincoln Hospital. The practice services the residents of Port Lincoln and surrounding communities.

The practice is supported by an experienced team of resident GP/RGs, experienced Registered Nurses, practice staff and visiting specialists in a purpose-built facility, with a pathology provider onsite. Investigator Clinic is an accredited teaching practice and there is opportunity to supervise registrars.

Hours:

• Practice: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Practice: Saturday 8:30am to 11:30am
• Hospital: rostered on call and emergency after hours medical and anaesthetic services

Qualifications considered / Experience

• Specialist or General Registration with AHPRA
• Vocational Registration
• Diploma of Rural Generalist Anaesthesia, or equivalent qualifications
• MBBS or equivalent
• Recent general practice experience
• Experience in adult, obstetric, and paediatric anaesthesia
• Recent emergency experience, or prepared to upskill
• Ability to gain credentials as a Medical Practitioner - GP Anaesthesia (general, epidural, regional, sedation, spinal, 7 years and over)

Desirable

• Post graduate qualifications relevant to general practice and advanced skills in Anaesthetics.
