Flinders Avenue Surgery provides community-based health care services including immunisations, health assessments, care plans for diabetes, asthma, and mental health needs, counselling, Indigenous health, geriatric care, minor surgeries, obstetric shared care, and women’s health. The practice also provides medical services to the Whyalla Hospital and Health Services and participates in the emergency roster.

The practice has a supportive and knowledgeable team consisting of a GP/RG, practice nurse, practice manager, and administrative staff.

Hours:

• Practice: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Hospital: inpatient services
• Hospital: shared on-call emergency roster

Qualifications considered / Experience

• Vocational registration
• MBBS or equivalent
• Recent emergency experience
• Ability to gain credentials as a General Practitioner – GP Emergency Medicine
