Do you want to live and work in one of South Australia’s largest rural towns? The seaport town of Whyalla is seeking a full time VR General Practitioner to join the Bunyarra Medical Clinic in Whyalla Norrie. The established practice has been in operation for 30 years and requires an experienced GP who is able to practise independently and work as part of the primary health care team in the medical practice. The successful applicant will assist in the chronic care of patients in aged care facilities and has the opportunity to participate in the local after-hours emergency on-call roster (1 to 2 days per month).
Excellent remuneration, accommodation and other incentives are included in the package.

Bunyarra Medical Clinic provides high quality community-based healthcare services to the remote community of Whyalla. There is an opportunity for the GP to provide medical services to the Whyalla Hospital and its emergency services as part of a roster with other GPs.
The city of Whyalla is located on the east coast of the Eyre Peninsula, 396km north-west of Adelaide on the Spencer Gulf, 77km south of Port Augusta. It is the largest industrial city in regional South Australia including manufacturing, agriculture and fishing industries.
Whyalla is the third largest city in South Australia and has a population of nearly 22,000.
