Kangaroo Island Medical Centre provides a comprehensive range of medical services incorporating a holistic approach towards diagnosis and management of illness, and emergency and anaesthetic services the Kangaroo Island Health Service hospital. The practice services the townships throughout Kangaroo Island and visiting tourists.

The practice is a fully equipped facility and supported by an experienced team, visiting specialists, and allied health services. Kangaroo Island Medical Centre is an accredited teaching practice and there is opportunity to supervise registrars.

Hours:

• Practice: Monday to Friday 8:45am to 4:45pm
• Hospital: on call shared roster generally 1 day per week and 1 in every 6 weekends
• Anaesthetics: on call roster determined in consultation with practice

Qualifications considered / Experience

• Vocational Registration
• Diploma of Rural Generalist Anaesthesia, or equivalent qualifications
• MBBS or equivalent
• Experience in anaesthesia
• Recent emergency experience, or prepared to upskill
• Ability to gain credentials as a Medical Practitioner - GP Anaesthesia (general, epidural, regional, sedation, spinal, 7 years and over)
