Nuriootpa Medical Centre is a family focused practice providing services in general family health, women’s health, paediatrics, dermatology, counselling and mental health, sports medicine, preventative medicine, and aged care and nursing home visits. The practice services the residents of Nuriootpa and the Barossa Valley area.

The practice is supported by an experienced team of GP/RGs, registered nurses, and admin staff, with a range of visiting and locally available specialists and allied health services. Nuriootpa Medical Centre is an accredited teaching practice and there is opportunity to supervise.

Hours:

• Practice: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm
• Practice (evening roster, once per week): Monday to Thursday 11:30am to 7:30pm
• Practice (rostered 1 week in 8): Saturday 9:00am to 11:30am

Qualifications considered / Experience

• Eligible for medical registration with AHPRA
• MBBS or equivalent

Desirable

• Vocational registration

Nuriootpa is the largest town and major commercial centre of the Barossa Valley. The Barossa Valley is a famous food and wine region in South Australia and is a popular location for tourists. Nuriootpa has a population of around 7,000.
