The Role

This full time GP position at Carlton Medical Centre has a strong focus on Women’s Health and family medicine. Hospital work is not a requirement in this role.

Standard work hours include up to 10 sessions per week during consulting hours, Monday to Friday, 7am – 5:30pm.

Essential Criteria

• Vocationally Registered
• MBBS or equivalent
• Experience in Women’s Health
• Cultural competence working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People

A postgraduate qualification relevant to general practice (e.g. Diploma of Child Health, Diploma in Obstetrics) is desirable, but not essential.

The Practice

Carlton Medical Centre provides high quality health care to the patients of Port Augusta, and surrounding communities. The Practice is currently staffed by a highly experienced full time VR GP and an extensive support team including Practice Manager, practice nurses and administrative staff.
