Two full time VR or non-VR positions in the historic township of Quorn, gateway to the spectacular Flinders Rangers, are now available for GPs passionate about rural healthcare.
Quorn is a Distribution Priority Area and a location that is included in the Five-Year OTD Scheme, as well as being part of the SAVES virtual emergency service network through the local public hospital.
These full time VR or non-VR positions offer experienced GPs the opportunity to practise a wide range of medicine at the practice, Quorn Medical Practice, and the Quorn & District Memorial Hospital with the option of working at the nearby Port Augusta Hospital. Rural proceduralists have the option of providing care in both Quorn and Port Augusta.
As an accredited training practice, you will also have the chance to supervise registrars and medical students.

A postgraduate qualification relevant to general practice (e.g. Diploma of Child Health) or extended skills in clinical radiography for rural general practice, anaesthetics, Aboriginal Health, mental health or palliative care is desirable, but not essential.
Owned and operated by Country and Outback Health (COBH), a South Australian non-for-profit organisation, the Quorn Medical Practice opens in November 2022. Supported by a great practice team, you will enjoy a refurbished facility which attracts a full range of visiting specialist and allied health services, including:
