Renmark Medical Clinic are looking for a full time VR GP to join their experienced team of rural GPs. Supported by a full range of visiting specialists and allied health professionals, this could be your opportunity to practise rural medicine in a friendly river community.

Renmark is a Distribution Priority Area and a location that is included in the Five-Year OTD Scheme.
Providing GP services to Renmark Medical Clinic and medical services to both the Renmark Paringa District Hospital and the Riverland General Hospital, you will have the ability to practice a wide range of medicine unique to rural practice in this full time role.
Standard work hours include up to 9 sessions per week during consulting hours, Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.45pm and Saturday mornings on a rostered basis between 9.00am – 11:30am. This position also provides after hours emergency on-call medical services to the Riverland General Hospital on a shared roster basis.
GPs in Renmark can use the SAVES virtual emergency service to support triage level 3, 4 and 5 presentations.
A postgraduate qualification relevant to general practice (e.g. Diploma of Child Health, Diploma in Obstetrics) is desirable, but not essential.

Renmark Paringa District Hospital is a 17 bed facility providing medical and surgical services, including accident and emergency, to the immediate Renmark community.
The recently redeveloped Riverland General Hospital is located in Berri, 15 minutes from Renmark, and provides the greater Riverland community with a broad range of medical services including:
