GP Rural Relocation Support Packages

We can help you find the right place to work, provide relocation support to help you get there, and help you get set up in your first year of rural practice.

About Rural Relocation Support Packages

If you are a GP moving to live and work in a rural South Australian community, you may be eligible to receive a Rural Relocation Support Package up to $5,000 to support your move. 

The grant is tailored to your needs and can be used for:

  • Moving personal effects
  • Basic whitegoods or furniture
  • Rental subsidy to offset the costs associated with living in the location in the first year.

Eligibility

You can apply for a relocation support package if you are a health professional relocating to live and work in a rural South Australian location.
