Have you been considering clinical or professional development?
If you are a primary health care professional working in rural or remote South Australia, grants up to $10,000 per year for up to two years are available to increase your clinical skills and scope of practice through training or study.
The grant can be used to cover the cost of course fees and may also include the cost of travel and accommodation associated with attending the training.

You could be eligible for the grant if you provide primary health care services to South Australian communities within a MM 3-7 location. Check your location here: Modified Monash Model (MM).

Priority consideration will be given to applicants who have not previously received a grant through the Health Workforce Scholarship Program.
Health professionals employed solely by the State Government (i.e. employed in a public hospital), or working solely in disability support services or solely in aged care services are not eligible to apply.

Applications for the Health Workforce Scholarship Program are currently closed.
You can apply for one grant per round. If you have already received a grant in previous rounds, you can apply for another grant in the current round.
Training and courses scheduled for later in the year can be applied for now.
Both face-to-face and online activities can be considered for this grant.
All activities supported through a scholarship and bursary need to be completed by 31 December 2023.
