Medical Interview Skills

RDWA assists rural Year 12 students in South Australia through the entry process to medical school by providing access to a medical interview skills training, delivered by MedEntry.

By participating in the interview training, students have the opportunity to prepare effectively for their medical program interview, which is required for entry into Medicine at the University of Adelaide.

MedEntry’s training helps you:

  • Learn the questions
  • Develop the right strategies
  • Practice in a simulated mock interview
  • Get feedback from experts, including university lecturers

Eligibility

To participate in the training, it is compulsory to attend the online strategy workshop and the mock interview workshop. Check the dates listed in the Guidelines before you apply.

To apply for the Medical Interview Skills Training activity, you must:

  • currently be in Year 12
  • live in rural South Australia in an MMM 2-7 location
  • have applied for medicine at the University of Adelaide for 2025.

To confirm your MMM location, enter your house address in the Health Workforce Locator and selecting the Modified Monash Model 2019 Classification Filter.
