Year 10, 11 and 12 Students
RDWA’s medSPACE Residential Workshop is a three-day camp held in Adelaide in July each year to support rural high school students to pursue their dream of becoming a doctor.
The workshop aims to demystify university through guided experiences at Flinders University and The University of Adelaide medical schools, as well as practical clinical sessions with current medical students. One day of the workshop is also spent introducing you to the Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admissions Test (UMAT).
Accommodation, meals and all travel costs (to, from and during the workshop) are covered by the RDWA. 24-hour supervision is provided by qualified staff during the workshop.
If you are in year 10, 11 or 12 at a rural high school or boarding college and your hometown is in rural South Australia, then this workshop may be for you.
Applications for the medSPACE Residential Workshop held in July 2018 are now closed. Register your interest for 2019 below.
