Coming from the southern suburbs of Adelaide, newly-graduated physiotherapist Aleisha Robinson is excited to join the Naracoorte community.
“I was keen to move to Naracoorte for a few reasons. Working in the hospital, private practice and home visits, the job here has so much variety that you just won’t get in the city.”
“Working in Naracoorte is an amazing opportunity and I'm looking forward to getting involved in the local community” said Aleisha.
RDWA’s Rural Relocation Support Program provides financial support to assist health care professionals with the costs of moving to SA’s country communities.
Aleisha received a $5,000 grant through the RDWA’s Rural Relocation Program, which supported her to move from Adelaide, buy essential items like furniture and white goods, and receive a rent subsidy.
“The grant really has been the icing on the cake, clinching my decision to move to the country.”
