Outreach Services
The RDWA administers a diverse range of visiting Outreach services across South Australia that are funded by the Australian Government. These services support people living in rural and remote areas of South Australia to access health care close to where they live. There are more than 150 providers covering 33 different types of specialist disciplines regularly visiting rural locations to deliver services across 68 locations throughout South Australia.
Programs within the suite of Outreach services include:
- Rural Health Outreach
- Medical Outreach Indigenous Chronic Disease
- Healthy Ears - Better Hearing, Better Listening
- Visiting Optometrists Scheme
