Ride-Along is an observational attachment with the Royal Flying Doctor Service which provides eligible medical and nursing students a great experience of rural health care in South Australia.
RDWA and RFDS have partnered to provide this experience to more than 1,000 students during the past 20 years.
The one-day attachment occurs on a weekend, and interested students are invited to attend one of several orientation sessions held at the RFDS Base throughout the year.
Medical or nursing students who are in Years 1 or 2 enrolled in the following courses and who are members of their University’s Rural Health Club can contact their Club to request attendance at the session:
