The Rural Health Outreach program aims to improve health outcomes for people living in rural and remote areas by increasing the range and choice of health services and reducing financial barriers to service delivery. There are 23 different types of specialist providers currently delivering services across 42 locations through South Australia.
The program addresses health priorities in maternal and paediatric health, eye health, mental health and support for chronic disease management.
