If you are a medical, nursing or allied health professional working in rural, regional and remote South Australia, the RDWA invites you to apply for a scholarship or bursary to increase your skills, capacity or scope of practice to deliver primary health care to rural communities.
The program is designed to improve access to health services for people living in remote and rural areas. It is available to eligible medical, nursing and allied health professionals working in primary health care.
Scholarships are available for formal postgraduate studies and will be awarded for up to one year for full time study. Scholarships for part-time study are also available.
Bursaries are available for training and up-skilling, and will be awarded as one-off payments to cover the cost of training or course fees, and/or cover or partially cover training related expenses.
Applications for scholarships and bursaries will open in 2018.
If you would like to be contacted when the next round of applications is open, or would like to discuss how this program may be able to support you, please get in touch with us.
