UCAT 2023 Exam Prep Grant
This grant is for 2023 Year 12 rural students who want to apply for medicine in 2024, and need to sit the UCAT in 2023.
RDWA supports SA’s rural high school students to follow your dream to become a doctor and to increase your skills to perform well in the University Clinical Aptitude Test, known as the UCAT Exam, which is an essential part of the medical school application.
UCAT Exams are held every year in July and August. A student’s performance in UCAT is part of the medical school’s applicant score for University of Adelaide and Flinders University.

If you are a rural Year 12 student in 2023 and you are committed to applying for medical school for 2024, RDWA offers you a UCAT Exam Prep Grant.
The grant provides free access to a premium online package to learn and practise the skills needed for the UCAT exam which is delivered by MedEntry. The Guidelines have all the detail, please read these before applying.
Eligibility
You can apply for this grant if you:
- are studying year 12 in 2023; and
- live in rural SA location; and
- are committed to applying for a place in a medicine course at the University of Adelaide or Flinders University for 2024 university year; and
- agree to participate fully in the MedEntry online learning platform including the three-day workshop.

If you are under 18 years at the time of applying, you will need to provide the contact details of a parent or guardian who can consent to the collection of your personal information and who can agree to the grant if you are successful.
Applications for UCAT 2024 will open in early 2024.
