The Position

Part-time Paediatric Physiotherapist 0.5FTE

Physio@ 1 Stop is seeking a part time physiotherapist with some paediatric experience to work in their Mount Gambier Practice. Skills in splint making and developmental physiotherapy would be highly regarded. On offer is a part-time position with above award rates, an annual CPD opportunity and the possibility of some additional work within community health organisations within the community.

Candidates must hold a recognised qualification within the Physiotherapy profession, be registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulating Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

The Practice

Physio@1 Stop is a specialised paediatric physiotherapy practice within the multidisciplinary group which forms 1 Stop Health. They provide advice and assistance to parents and families through the developing years of a child’s life, from birth to eighteen years. Their current team consists of three part-time physiotherapists (one on maternity leave).  There is an occupational therapy practice and a social worker working under the 1 Stop Health banner.

If successful, you can expect your work to involve orthopaedic, developmental and neurological therapies with privately funded and NDIS patients.  The hours worked will be flexible however some school visiting times may be required.

The Community

Located in south eastern South Australia, Mount Gambier is equidistant from Adelaide and Melbourne and has a population of approximately 26,000.

The city enjoys a vibrant social atmosphere, community events, markets with convenient connection to Adelaide and Melbourne via Regional Express air services. There is a cinema, aquatic centre, various sporting complexes and the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre which enjoys many visiting theatrical and musical acts.
